Welcome to the website of the Graduate Program in Neuroscience at the University of Mississippi Medical Center!  Research and education in neuroscience has a long history at UMC and some 45 doctoral-level scientists are currently active in this field on campus.  The Program in Neuroscience was recently organized and is the first on campus to be truly interdisciplinary with faculty and support from nine Departments spanning basic and clinical neuroscience.  We offer an intensive and comprehensive program of training leading to a Ph.D. in Neuroscience.  We invite you to tour our site, learn about our faculty and curriculum and, of course, we will be happy to answer any questions you may have.
